Equipment
All flats have electric cookers, microwaves, electric kettles, refrigerators, colour TV, hairdryers, heating and heated towel rails. Linen and bath towels (not beach towels) are provided. Rates are inclusive of electricity, heating and hot water in flats. a laundry room is situated alongside the sauna, near the swimming pool. Dove La wn and Poolside have their own laundry. There is a communal washing line for all the flats in the Orchard garden. Wireless internet access is available in the visitors lounge and in some flats
Dogs
Carnwethers welcomes responsible dog owners but by prior arrangement only. Drinking bowls, poop scoops and bio-degradable bags are available. A charge of £15 per week is made per dog, which is shared amongst local environmental groups ( the Wildlife Trust and Bat Group) and the Vet Support Group, at the end of the season.
Creature Comforts
'Creature Comforts' was set up by the Vet Support Group to raise funds to support the Islands vet. This charity provides visitors with the option to 'hire' dog beds and blankets, additional dog bowls and cages for a donation which will contribute to the maintenance of a vetinary practice on the Islands. If you are intending to bring your dog to the Islands this can save you the effort of transporting your own pets bedding and accoutrements.
