The 10m x 5m solar-heated, saline pool is the perfect way to relax at the end of the day*. Take a dip, the water is usually maintained at a temperature of between 21 and 27 degrees celsius, or bask on a sunlounger by the pool. Alternatively, why not enjoy the Nordic sauna?

 

Carnwethers stands in aproximately one acre of grounds. Stroll through our beautiful gardens, find a secluded spot for a snooze, or play a round of croquet.

 

 

 

 

      

         

                                                                  

   Carnwethers is also home to a flight of doves who make their home in our dovecote.

 

 

We have a well stocked games room. Enjoy a game on our full-size, free pool table, peruse the communal library of books, CD's and videos, or choose a board game.

Please note children using the pool must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times as we have no lifeguard on duty.

Bike Hire

From 2010 we will be providing a bike hire service exclusively for guests staying at Carnwethers.  Please ask for details when making your booking

Grocery Supplies

Chalet Valet is no longer operating a delivery service.  We can however offer help with transferring your shopping from town to Carnwethers if required.

A local market is held every month during the main season.  At other times a local produce shop is open on Porthmellon Industrial Estate and is open most days during the week selling a range of local produce including eggs, beef, honey, preserves, potatoes, seasonal herbs and vegetables and locally brewed beer.
